Recommended Raiding Build
Single Target:
- Burning Rush or Demon Skin or Dark Pact (very situational)
The New Best In Slot Hexenmeister Player Welcome Bonuses are only available to players who create an account and make their first deposit at Casino Cruise. To be eligible to claim the New Best In Slot Hexenmeister Player Welcome Bonuses, players must deposit a minimum of $10 in one instance, for each bonus. The 'Best in Slot Raid Gear for Healing Priests - Phase 1' section (i.e. Covering post-raid bis items) is woefully inaccurate as things stand, especially with Dire Maul now being available. Updating only the pre-raid bis list isn't going to cut it when many people has been raiding for weeks now. Stat priorities, legendaries, tier set bonuses, trinkets, and recommended best-in-slot items for Destruction Warlocks. Updated for Shadowlands Pre-Patch 9.0.1.
AoE:
- Burning Rush or Demon Skin or Dark Pact (very situational)
- Cataclysm or Inferno
- Dark Soul: Instability or Soul Conduit
Recommended Mythic+ Build
- Burning Rush or Demon Skin or Dark Pact (very situational)
- Dark Soul: Instability or Soul Conduit
Boss specific recommendations and strategy:
Raid BossesTier 1 (15)
Flashover - This Talent generally is always the best option you want to be choosing when playing destruction warlock. It makes the spec much smoother to play giving you that extra backdraft charge and 99% of the time sims the highest DPS.
Tier 2 (25)
Reverse Entropy - Yet again this talent is pretty much the always go-to talent no matter what gameplay you're doing. The proc rate is quite good and is the only real viable option in this section.
Tier 3 (30)
You can use either Demon Skin, Burning Rush or Dark Pact. All 3 are viable for different situations.
Demon Skin is great if you're stacking up a lot and taking constant damage with not much movement in the fight.
Burning Rush is great when there is a lot of movement and you need to help with mechanics or dodging certain mechanics.
Dark Pact is a great option when you need to soak heavy damage however you need to make sure you use this ability when you're full health to get the full effects as the damage absorbed is based on current health.
Tier 4 (35)
Cataclysm - Cataclysm sims the highest with anything from around 1-4 targets. This option just helps with spreading Immolate on all targets and deals a large burst of AoE on impact. In this talent section, all 3 have their own good niches however I always prefer Cataclysm and Inferno. With Rain of Fire hitting so hard now Inferno is really good with fights with constant AoE.
Tier 5 (40)
Mortal Coil - Pretty much the only choice you will want to choose in raiding for the burst heal on demand.
Tier 6 (45)
Rain of Chaos - This is the default choice for 99% of the situations, Infernals are a massive part of our damage/AoE and this just helps increase that. There is a little bit of RNG with how many infernals it will spawn during the fight however it's still always the best option.
Tier 7 (50)
Soul Conduit - The talent that is good when there's a lot of AoE partnered with the Inferno talent as you have quite a high chance you can cast free Rain of Fires which do heavy AoE damage and can be cast as frequently as you want (There's no cap). Also the more shards you spend the more chance of proccing infernals.
Channel Demonfire - Solid option when you want to do good single target damage with some splash AoE. Great synergy when used with Cataclysm so I would always advise to use both of these talents together.
Dark Soul: Instability - Most of the time this is your go-to talent in this section for Single target or 2 targets. For progression raiding, having a powerful cooldown is always really good to nuke an important add down or to do big damage in a burst window.
